“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think””
– Margaret Mead –

My name is Kim Philot and I am originally from Trion, Georgia (USA). My thirteen years of teaching have allowed me to live in Arizona, Egypt, The Republic of Georgia, Switzerland and now Oderzo. I have been an International Baccalaureate English teacher for the past seven years and I have grown both professionally and personally with the program.

We must teach tolerance and intercultural understanding. Aside from just teaching the “basics”, a school must also teach respect of differences and acknowledgements of similarities.
