Cinzia Agrizzi
Italian A and Italian as Foreign Language
“From me expect no further word or sign. Free, right and sound is thine own will, and wrong were not to act according to its hest; hence o’er thyself I crown and mitre thee”
– Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy, Purgatorio XXVII –
After graduating in Modern Literature and Communication Studies at the University of Trieste, I worked as a journalist and also taught Social Sciences, Semiotics and Italian in high and middle schools. Teaching and researching in the field of Literature is an important part of my life and this new adventure that is about to begin at GSO perfectly summarises my passions.
I believe that the teacher should be a guide encouraging students to be curious and motivated as much as possible: educating doesn’t only mean instructing, but above all lighting a spark.
