On Monday 20th May, at GSO school there was a music concert proposed by us, school students. The teachers Angelica Casonato and Margherita Boatin accompanied us throughout all the year, through singing and piano classes every Saturday morning. The music concert was meant for us to show our talents, specifically music talents, indeed some of us sang and some others played the piano. Farah and Sithis, the DP2 students left us with an amazing performance of I’ll always remember us this way by Lady Gaga; Eva, instead, performed a piece from the movie “Midnight Sun”, called Where I stand. Blanca and Giacomo sang Creep by the Radiohead, while Grigorii and I performed Perfect by Pink, although we used the version from the tv serie Glee.
We also had amazing pianists with Giacomo that played Minuet (the third) by Bach, Anna that played Sonnellino from a first-starter book of Piano, and at last Grigorii that performed Waltz a minor by Chopin.
We all had a great time singing and playing the piano together. We had a last chance to say goodbye to the DP2s and to enjoy the music one last time together.
We all hope we’ll have the chance to have music classes next year and we are very thankful to our marvellous teachers.
